Getting Around
Most sights are concentrated around Plaka and Tripiti (10 min from Adamas), with geological wonders spread across the north coast. A rental car or scooter makes it easy.
Best Time to Visit
Museums and archaeological sites are best visited in the morning before the heat. The Kastro of Plaka is magical at sunset. Sarakiniko is stunning at any hour.
Entry & Tickets
The Catacombs require a guided tour (tickets on site). The Archaeological Museum and Mining Museum charge a small admission fee. All outdoor sights are free.
