Milos.guide is an independent, ad-free travel guide. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle data. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how you can control it.

We do not sell your data. We do not run ads. We collect only the minimum necessary to operate the site.

Milos.guide is a static website hosted on GitHub Pages. We do not operate a database or store personal data on our own servers. The only personal data we may receive is what you voluntarily provide via the contact form.

We do not collect:

  • Names, emails or any personal information from visitors who browse the site
  • Payment information of any kind
  • Device fingerprints or cross-site tracking data

3. Cookies

Milos.guide does not use first-party cookies or tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other analytics or advertising platform.

Third-party services embedded in the site (such as Google Maps iframes) may set their own cookies when you interact with them. These are governed by Google's privacy policy.

When you submit the contact form, your name, email address and message are sent to us via Google Apps Script and stored in a Google Sheets spreadsheet accessible only to the site owner. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry.

We do not share this data with third parties, use it for marketing, or retain it longer than necessary.

You may request deletion of your contact data at any time by emailing us (see Section 8).

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights under applicable privacy law (including the EU General Data Protection Regulation — GDPR):
