Perched at the highest point of Plaka, the Kastro dates from the 13th-century Venetian occupation. Its whitewashed alleys and the tiny Church of Panagia Thalassitra crown the hilltop. The views from the top — island-wide, 360° — are the most spectacular on Milos.
